Grand Arden Monaco Nelson Hotel, Nelson

I had a lovely stay at the hotel, enjoying a comfortable room with a great view. However, I was disappointed with the dining prices and internet service issues. The setting is beautiful and unique, especially by the estuary, but there were a few maintenance setbacks that detracted from the experience.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant, with its unique European-inspired design and beautiful surroundings. The accommodations were comfortable, and it was great to be near a scenic running track and seaside walks. However, the bathroom drainage issue was annoying and could use some attention. Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant's excellent food, though the decor seemed downgraded from my previous visits. It’s a charming place to escape for a few days, especially for those who appreciate a touch of French ambiance.

I just came back from a fantastic trip to Nelson, and my stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The resort is more impressive in person than in photos, making it a lovely location to relax and enjoy family time. The only downside was that the ensuites were a bit small, but it was worth it for the privacy we enjoyed. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great escape!

We had a generally good stay at a charming two-bedroom cottage, which was especially enjoyable for our six-year-old who made plenty of new friends at the village green. While the pool was also nice, it had some murkiness that should be addressed. The interior could use some modernization, although the renovated bathrooms were a highlight. Overall, we would return if updates are made to the furnishings.
